We got married in 2020, a complicated period because of the Covid, the changing regulations, the new restrictions, the difficulties in getting together...
The "Château de Lerse", represented by Joss and Karine, was able to support us and support us throughout long preparation and choices to be made, even if it was not easy.
Preparation is intense when you want to put some effort into it. Joss and Karine are professional and caring!
Thank you to them for having accompanied us to live this day as well as possible. This place is the most beautiful that we have seen in the region, a spacious outdoor shelter in case of rain, a room for a warm dinner, a magnificent garden, a lake...
The weather being uncertain, the cocktail happened under the shelter, it was good but we would have liked to enjoy the valley!
The caterer is managed by the place and the kitchen of Joss who knows the logistics perfectly and the material was very well organized. Nothing to say !
The cocktail and dinner were unrivaled, a treat, original, generous but rather light and healthy and we are gourmets!
Very nice experience at Château de Lerse, we will return there to savor the atmosphere of this wonderful weekend.

We decided to call on Joss and his team for cocktail workshops and our wedding dinner, and Joss was available quickly to discuss our expectations and wishes as a first step.
Great cocktail workshops and a menu, very original proposals, very creative taste associations, and great presentations. On the day the whole team was very professional for the installation of the bar, service and table dressing. Thanks to the whole team we were able to receive our guests serenely. A creative and upscale cuisine, quality products, mixes of bold flavors (gambas with caramel spices, fine pies of scallops & hazelnut coriander vinaigrette, pan-fried foie gras, filet mignon of veal saltimbocca & juice with pinot, fillet of bar à l'unilatéral & vinaigrette citrus and ginger, tajine of vegetables ...), remarkable food-wine pairings around a format "dinner workshops" perfectly rhythmic. Joss dust off the traditional codes of wedding catering with talent! He even declined a concept videos "Do it yourself" for those who want to cook themselves, and simply their big events (www.cuisine-et-audace.com). Joss is also an exceptional conductor, who has sublimated our marriage thanks to his always very accurate advice and an impeccable organization, surrounded by his wife Karine, smiling and always very attentive, his charming butler Dirk for whom the unexpected always has a solution, and all his team of professionals in cooking and service. A team of enthusiasts, experiences, reassuring, irreproachable. Catering Events is the first and only caterer we had "tested" for our wedding. Received in this magnificent castle of Lerse in Charente, that Joss and his wife manage all the year, and which we fell immediately under the spell, we were immediately put in confidence. Our guests, all generations, repeat that they have never seen better caterer at a wedding. Joss and his team were, most certainly, the architects of the success of our marriage. Very professional and attentive to our requests, Joss and his team sublimated our marriage. A selection of beautiful products as original as delicious that surprised all our guests.
The different entrees offered through the workshops were succulent, as was the rest of the menu. A meat dish as surprising as it was delicious and a selection of varied cheeses that delighted many.
Fresh products and worked with talent, we rarely eat as well and this opinion was unanimous among our guests!

Joss and his team were absolutely incredible over our wedding weekend. My fiancé is Serbian so we wanted to incorporate some traditional Serbian cuisine and decided to host a hog roast the evening before our wedding. The roast and side dishes Joss prepared were absolutely perfect, it was the perfect kick off to our wedding weekend. Joss and his team returned the following morning on our wedding day and everything was once again exactly as we hoped. Joss’ staff was so attentive to our guests and every serving of food from the canapes during our cocktail hour to the appetizers, entrees and dessert at dinner were all so delicious. We had so many guests come up to us and let us know how wonderful their meal was. Thank you so much Joss for making our wedding weekend everything we dreamed it would be! We are so thankful!

We had Joss (owner and chef of Traiteur Events) cater for our wedding at Saint Privat des Pres and the food was excellent. His canapés are amazing and all of his food is really excellent.
We even had him do the catering for a BBQ at the wedding venue for our guests the next day and it was the best BBQ food we have had – real gourmet French BBQ – not your usual burgers etc.
All Authentically French and wonderful stuff. Would highly recommend Joss for wedding catering and he is a real pleasure to work with – a great guy and always eager to please.

We used this restaurant to cater for our wedding in Chateau De Lacoste this summer and the food and hospitality were incredible. We had a really fun and very delicious tasting session in the restaurant in March where we got to choose the food we were going to eat on the day itself.
All our guests absolutely loved the canapés and food (the Foie gras crème Brule was a big talking point). The head waiter was so wonderful and really made sure my husband and I had what we needed to ensure we had an amazing day!

Traiteu Events catered for our wedding in June 2015. We had a incredible experience in his restaurant for our wedding tasting. A really special location that complimented his exquisite food. No request was too much and he was happy to tailor make any requests we had.
On the wedding day he was a pleasure to have including his wonderful team. We had the most amazing canapés which included incredible scallops and prawns on a hot plancher. Joss created the most beautiful, unique and most importantly delicious sharing plates of starters and desserts.
The main course of individual steaks and huge baked rounds of dauphinoise potatoes and late night crepes were cooked to perfection. Food and wine at our wedding was very important and Joss provided the most amazing food we could wish for. Our wedding guests to this day still compliment us on the food.
A huge thank you to Joss and his team. Joss catered for a friends wedding the year before and is catering for a friend in August. We can’t wait!
We have just celebrated our daughter’s wedding and had the extremely good fortune to have Joss and his exceptional team from Traiteur Events catering for us, not only for the wedding day but also a garden party the following day. The quality of the food and service on both days was simply out of this world. Nothing was too difficult for Joss including catering for special dietary requirements! From start to finish it was a pleasure dealing with Joss and his team.
For anyone contemplating a wedding or other special occasion, I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the team!
Joss and his team did the catering four our wedding weekend in September, both on the day itself and on the Sunday for a more relaxed BBQ.
I must start by saying that the experience all started phenomenally when we went to do the initial tasting back in April. On a cold rainy day we were invited to the restaurant to select our wedding breakfast and arriving to a roaring log fire, a friendly Joss, and a beautiful restaurant, we knew straight away that we had chosen wisely and would be well looked after. EVERYTHING we tasted on this day was beautiful and we had such a hard time making the final cut, we wanted it all.
But choose we did and in September when the wedding arrived our canapés and meal surpassed all of our expectations and our guests too. Everyone has since raved about our wedding food, especially the scallops and we feel so so happy that it met all of our expectations and lived up to our memories from earlier in the year. The dessert platter was incredible, I’m only sad that I only managed one from this on the actual evening.
On Sunday we also had the most wonderful BBQ provided – again I can fault nothing! It was all wonderful.
Joss is just lovely and really went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect – a lovely person to have around on such a special day! Food is so important at a wedding and I can promise you that if you go with this wonderful person and place you would not be disappointed.
